The Analyst will be accountable for ensuring that all processing jobs for television and multimedia data complete successfully. Validate television ad occurrence data and resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the US geography and media landscape
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative thinking, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Analytical and detail oriented
  • Able to function independently
  • Able to work under pressure and within time critical deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • SQL knowledge for data analysis
  • Solid understanding of data and data structures
  • Familiarity with Windows, and Unix concepts
  • Basic computer skills (spreadsheet, word processing, e-mail)

Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to use a phone or wear a headset
  • Ability to use a computer, keyboard and mouse with high-speed internet access
  • Work environment is indoors, remote or in a Nielsen office location
  • Ability to work an assigned shift schedule which may include holidays and weekends, day, evening or night shifts to match USA time zones

Responsibility:

  • Be available to research and respond to any questions that arise from other departments
  • Run production procedures and ensure their successful completion. Work with and provide support to the technical and development teams
  • Validate television ad occurrence data
  • Maintain an ongoing knowledge of all related operational processes and procedures residing in the Windows, Unix, and Postgres environments.
