Requirements:

  • Preferable to have experience in SQL Server Stack (SSRS/SSIS/SSAS).
  • Expert in overall Power BI architecture from data visualization to Calculations to data preparation and data modelling.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI Webservices and Report Server models, including publishing, data security, embedding and licensing models and requirements.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Conceptual understanding of other pieces of Microsoft BI Tech stack like Azure Data Lake, Data Bricks, PowerApps, MS Flow, Cognitive services etc.
  • Experience in generating reports from Oracle warehouse and Bigdata
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Power BI using DAX, Power Query, and other advanced visualization techniques.
  • Capable of explaining and defending dashboards to client stakeholders (technical and business)
  • Ability to conduct hands-on technical training sessions on Power BI
  • Preliminary/conceptual knowledge of statistical concepts advanced analytics models (predictive, classification, forecasting)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibility:

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Work with clients across industries to help them achieve their Analytics and BI goals
  • Analyze data to quickly come up with relevant KPIs, analysis story and wireframes.
  • Develop dashboard/reports using different Power BI. Use DAX and Power Query (M Language) to prepare data, that fits the analysis requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects together with a team of Power BI developers, while ensuring highest quality of deliverables.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Work on Proof of Concepts to support and further business development.
  • Proven work experience as a business analyst or similar role
  • Manage client communication and engagements by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
