Job Description:
- Support AP team in accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment; including coding invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approval, and entering the invoices into the accounting system.
- Process employee expense reports, including verification of receipts and coding.
- Ensure all accounts payable policies and procedures are adhered to including travel and related expenses, vendor approval and invoice processing.
- Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders.
- Assist team with gathering support for all audits, including pulling documentation.
- Provide documents & information required for management report & audits.
- Support GL team in preparing JE for month end accruals.
- Improvise the process by suggesting innovative ideas.
- Ad-hoc assignments as per business requirement.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree related to accounting/finance
- Preferably B Com/ M Com/Inter CA/ Inter CMA
- Should have 0-2 years of experience in accounts department.
- Good oral and written communication in English.
- Proficient in MS office particularly Excel, Outlook & Word
- Knowledge of accounting software / ERP will be added advantage.
- Ready to work in EMEA Shift
