Qualys is hiring for the post of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Design, develop, and deliver web-based applications and services
  • Deliver new features and improvements in a fast-paced environment as part of a growing engineering team
  • Mentor other developers on the web, backend, and our system
  • Constantly evaluate product's architecture, performance, scale, user exp
  • Apply Object Oriented principles like SOLID, DRY
  • Work closely with the product manager and cross-functional groups to develop product requirements
  • Research new technologies and incorporate their usage into new products or services

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years experience in Java backend development
  • Java 8, Spring Boot, Hibernate
  • Knowledge of Distributed event streaming platforms like Kafka
  • Working experience in technologies like Elasticsearch
  • Knowledge of distributed caching
  • Exposure to Oracle database
  • Good knowledge of data structures, distributed system
  • Good to have Experience in k8s, docker
  • Reactjs/Redux
